5 Things I Loved About the Sandy Liang x GAP Collaboration

The Sandy Liang x GAP collaboration dropped last week, and since then I’ve watched countless videos about it. After seeing the reviews and reactions, I wanted to put in my two cents and share five things I liked from the Sandy Liang x GAP drop.

The Short Film

In a time where ai is becoming more prevalent, and big companies are constantly taking the cheapest route to push their business/products, I greatly appreciate the brands that still value craftsmanship and creativity. So when I found out that Sandy Liang X GAP hired Annie Choi; a visual artist for this drop, it warmed my heart.

Annie Choi’s art reminds me of my early childhood. When I’d either stay up very late at night, or wake up an hour to two earlier than I was supposed to, to catch up and watch anime on adult swim or UPN.Her style of animation perfectly compliments this collection. The pieces look like something straight out of a 90s or early 2000s anime… playful, nostalgic, and effortlessly cool.

I love tote bag as it is already. Like I don’t care if it’s promoting a trash company, as long as it's a bag in the shape of a tote. I'm wearing that! Not only is this a tote bag, it’s a CLEAR tote bag with a cute star in the PERFECT shade of pink? Oh yeah, gimme dat.

All these three colors together is chiefs kiss. It’s the perfect shade of each color. I love a zip up hoodie, cause I get to do my favorite thing in a zip up hoodie… free the nips.

This trench coat is the star… or should I say bow? Of the show. The bow is is amazing. I also love the length and how oversized this coat it.

Ima be honest. On it’s own. I’m not really a fan of it FOR me. Cause I’m a big boobie girl and oversized hoodies w/no zip just makes me looks like a stuffed turkey. But this paired with the trench coat, Is so good. I love them paired together. It’s chill chic. Absolutely amazing!
